DiversityInc has held roundtables every summer in our Newark, N.J., headquarters to
find out the latest innovations and
best practices from chief diversity
officers from The DiversityInc
Top 50 Companies for Diversity®.
We continued to do that this
summer (see page 16), but we
added a new angle. We held two
special roundtables for eight chief
diversity officers from companies
that are not yet in the DiversityInc
Top 50 but are poised to make
the list or have just made the list
for the first time. We explored
what they are doing that is getting
them on the road to integrating
diversity into their key lines of
business, the depth of their CEO
commitment, and what their next
steps should be.
If you are just getting started in
diversity management—or are
early in your diversity journey—
read this article and learn from
companies that are doing it the
right way.
