DiversityInc is funding scholarships
In 2007 we donated more than $200,000
to support scholarships and nonprofit
organizations.
Bennett College for Women:
We sponsor unrestricted funds via the United
Negro College Fund, which matches donations.
New Jersey City University:
We sponsor students to take the CPA prep
course and sponsor an endowed scholarship for
students with an interest in media and business.
Rutgers University:
Through the Equal Opportunity Fund, we
sponsor an endowed scholarship for students
with an interest in business and media. Through
the Rutgers Foundation, we sponsor the
Women’s Fund and the Scholars Training and
Enrichment Program (STEP).
We also sponsor scholarships for student
members of the United Negro College Fund
and the National Society of Hispanic MBAs.
The Mission of the DiversityInc Foundation
is to fund scholarships for financially disadvantaged
students. Founded in 2006 by Luke Visconti and
Foulis Peacock, our goal is to donate 2 percent of
the gross revenue of DiversityInc Media LLC via the
DiversityInc Foundation.
Our programs currently include funding scholarships
at three schools and two diversity-related nonprofit
organizations. They include: Bennett College for
Women (a historically Black college); New Jersey
City University (a Hispanic-serving institution and
minority-serving institution); Rutgers University;
the United Negro College Fund; and the National
Society of Hispanic MBAs.
The DiversityInc Foundation raises funds primarily
through fees to DiversityInc Partner and Cofounder
Luke Visconti for speaking engagements. We also
accept direct corporate donations. Donations may
be directed at a specific area of concern and the
DiversityInc Foundation will channel the funds to
the best program at one of the schools we support.
