initiative started in 2005,
prepares minority pre-law
students for the rigors of
law school. To date, 75
have graduated from the
summertime program. As
the program expands, we
believe it will help improve
the number of minority
students successfully
completing law school and
joining national law firms.
One in four law students are
members of minority groups.
But fewer than one in six
associates at large law firms
are minorities.
And only one in 20 partners at
large law firms is a part of
a minority group.
