SCORECARD
The Top Web Sites for Diversity
BY AYSHA HUSSAIN / © 2007 DiversityInc
In today’s competitive business world, having a company web site that
reflects the commitment to corporate diversity is essential. The web site is
the entry point and the most common resource for most people, so the
message about diversity makes the difference for potential recruits, current
employees, customers, suppliers and investors. Among The 2007
DiversityInc Top 50 Companies for Diversity® participants, 22 companies
earned perfect scores for the questions we asked in the Top 50. These include
having diversity on the homepage, the CEO having a quote about diversity
on the site, the web site featuring images of people of color and people with
disabilities, and specifically addressing the GLBT community. Here’s a look
at five of them, in alphabetical order, and what made them so strong.
